Qualifications - CA (India), CPA (USA), B.Com, M.Com.

[2014 -2017] - With my time at BDO India (5th largest accounting firm in the world), I cultivated an extensive skill set in the domains of Indian corporate management, taxation, audit and assurance, due diligence, bookkeeping, and management consultancy. My quick learning abilities and skills allowed me to serve a diverse clientele across industries like gaming, microfinance, telecommunications, startups, entertainment, and more. Furthermore, I actively collaborated on numerous projects in conjunction with the BDO Australia and BDO UK teams, expanding my global exposure.

[2018 - 2021] - I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by establishing my own food e-commerce startup, LocalBee India. Over the course of three years, I bootstrapped the company to $300,000 in profitable revenue. We consistently operated at a profit, successfully recovering the initial investment. In this fiercely competitive sector in India, we also made significant strides by exporting our food products to countries such as the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Belgium, Australia, Thailand, and Dubai. I have also shared my experience with other entrepreneurs and managers in the e-commerce sector.

[2022 - Ongoing] - My US CPA qualification and expertise have been instrumental in my role with doola, a YC (S20) backed company. I focus on sales, partnerships, growth, US company incorporations, and taxation. With a proven track record, I've provided comprehensive consultations to over 1000 clients, both in the US and outside of the US, across 175+ countries, helping them establish their US-based companies. We offer end-to-end services, from company incorporation and bank account setup to bookkeeping, tax filings, compliance, and managing sales and local tax obligations. Our results-driven approach has been a key factor in our clients' success.

[November 2023 - December 2023] - Worked with Google on a local language AI project to build generative AI models that are safe and inclusive for users in different cultural contexts. Using colloquial language, the AI models were tested for potential bias and harm on locally sensitive topics.

[2023 - Ongoing] - I am working with a company in India (name redacted) to centralize their operations, processes, documents, and knowledge within Notion, building different databases and dashboards to increase efficiency and productivity. I made life easier for them with Zapier, setting up cool automation, and got creative with Canva to whip up some eye-catching visuals to ensure I've got my client's back with whatever they need.
